Information for Charities The Charity Application Process is Now Open for the 2012 Central & Northern New Mexico Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) We will be offering four charity application workshops in New Mexico for 2012. Local independent charities are strongly encouraged to attend one of the sessions to ease the application process and limit errors. Reservations for the training sessions will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and is limited to 30 charities per training session. Additional training dates may be offered if filled to capacity. Following are the training dates, times and locations: Albuquerque:

A charity must apply for inclusion EVERY YEAR, and must meet all eligibility requirements EVERY YEAR. The application requirements are taken from Federal Register 5 CFR Part 950 Subpart B (950.201, 950.202, 950.203, 950.204, 950.205) and also Subpart C for Federations. These regulations can be downloaded from the Office of Personnel Management’s CFC Webpage (www.opm.gov/cfc). If applying as a National or International Agency, your application is made to the Office of Personnel Management on an annual basis. If you would like to apply as a National Agency, call 202-606-2564 and request an application or check the OPM Website at www.opm.gov/cfc to download an application. The 2012 CFC charity applications are available for download below. Please also consult the full Charity Qualifications and Materials section of the OPM Website for more detailed information.
